Rodolfo "Rudy" Francisco Acuña, Ph.D., (born ) is an American historian, professor emeritus at California State University, Northridge, and a scholar of Chicano authored the book Occupied America: A History of Chicanos, approaching history of the Southwestern United States with a heavy emphasis on Mexican eighth edition . This book is an important reference describing in excellent detail the natural history and inhabitants of Spanish America during these times. The three illustrations below, are by Wafer and his description of the Cuna Indians of Darien.
